Make two outer bridles of exactly
the same length.
Tick the spots where the buckles
must make their knot (1) so as to be able to put
it in the right place.
Beware of discrepancies, a knot
being likely to use up to 1/2 to 1 cm of bridle.
Make a knot at the point of tying
of the inner bridle (2). Also make a knot on each side 1 cm away
(3). This will allow you to tune your kite depending on the wind.
Also make two inner bridles of exactly the same length.
Make a knot at the tying point of
the linking buckle for the kite lines (4 or 5 depending on the types
of bridling).
Make a buckle for tying the lines,
in general approx. 8 cm long (6).
Link the inner bridle to the outer
bridle by a lark'shead knot (7 and 7 a) tied to the middle knot.
The other knots will be used to shift the buckle for flight tuning
at your convenience. Link the buckle (6) to the knot (4 o 5).
When you are ready to fly, link
your lines to the buckles by a lark's head knot. To put your equipment
away, undo this knot. The lines do not therefore stay tied to the
kite when it is put away.
