TO MAKE A KITE TRAIN

Flying with two kites is nearly as easy as flying with one only.

You must choose two exactly identical kites of small size : approx. one meter wingspan if you are linking two, 70 cm wingspan if you are linking more. Indeed, the strength of linked kites adds up. Therefore a kite train can end up pulling as much as a single big one.

Make 50 cm long bridles, all of exactly the same length. The slightest variation prevents the kite duo from flying properly.

Link the two kites together by the six connection points as shown on the left. Link your lines to the lower kite : it is ready to fly.

A right bridling can also be done, well suited to trains with many kites

You can also link the two kites together by the four connection points as shown on the right.
