Course 1 : To start
Course 1 teaches
you basic flying : to launch, to land, basic turns, how to avoid
crashes. At the end of the tutorial, you can fly unassumingly but
acceptably.

|
Course
2 : To be in control
You will learn to launch again without your
having to move, by manoeuvering the lines at a distance. You will
also learn how to be in better control of your kite and to do your
first figures : loopings, figures of eight, square turns.
You will complete the course by
learning the pancake which will be your first trick and therefore
your first flight with the kite flat, like a plane.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Course
3 : To Master
Learn to use the full wind window,
to stop your kite, to get it to go exactly where you want. This
is the difference between flying and managing a kite.
The turtle will be your first figure
with the kite flat on its back.

Course
4 : To improve
You are no longer
a beginner. You now need to get dexterity and learn to fly with
the lines slack.
You will be learning to do launches
which require precision and to improve on the turtle.
The axel will be your first real
competition trick. It will be your first movement where the kite
rotates parallel to the ground with lines slack. You need to master
it totally since it is the basis for numerous other tricks.

Course 5 : To do figures
You can now step into freestyle
tricks. You will be improving on the variants of the axel.
You will be learning your first
belly launch and to land while doing a figure. The 180 degree vertical
will be your first figure in nearly non-existent wind.

Course 6 : To do advanced
tricks
Aside from the technical figures
on the ground, learn the flatspin 540, a figure usually rated 3
(out of 5) in competitions
You will be learning the fade which
will be your first figure with the kite flat on its back, nose pointing
to you. Like the axel, the fade is the basis for numerous other
figures.
|
|
|
 |
|
 |
 |
 |
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Course 7 : Beyond fun flying
You will be
improving on the fade which you should be able to do in light and
in strong wind. You will also be learning to better hold your kite
in a flat position.
You
will be doing your first combinations and following on with back
and belly flips, in particular the flip flop and the cuckoo clock.

Course 8 : Far beyond fun
flying
You will be
learning very technical figures in which the kite is turning upside
down since the lines are twisted around it, in particular the lazy
susan. You will also be learning the backspin, one of the key figures
in competitions.
At
the end of this course, you will therefore be able to get the kite
to turn around all axes and to hold it in all the positions .
